pub enum AvroType
    Int,
    Long,
    Float,
    Double,
    String,
    Boolean,
    Bytes,
    Nullable(Box<AvroType>),

Avro primitive and complex types supported by Kinetica

Variants

Int

32-bit signed integer

Long

64-bit signed integer

Float

32-bit IEEE 754 floating-point

Double

64-bit IEEE 754 floating-point

String

Unicode string

Boolean

A Kinetica boolean, which is an Avro int (the column also takes the boolean property): Kinetica has no Avro boolean, and refuses a type with one (“Invalid type “boolean””). A Rust bool must be written as an int for it: see bool_as_int.

Bytes

Sequence of bytes

Nullable(Box<AvroType>)

Nullable type: a union of the type and null, in that order, as the server keeps a nullable column’s type.

Implementations

Source

pub fn nullable(self) -> Self

Creates a nullable version of this type

Trait Implementations

Returns a duplicate of the value. Read more
1.0.0 (const: unstable) · Source

fn clone_from(&mut self, source: &Self)

Performs copy-assignment from source. Read more
Source

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<’_>) -> Result

Formats the value using the given formatter. Read more
Source

fn eq(&self, other: &AvroType) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 (const: unstable) · Source

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
