Kinetica High Availability (HA) eliminates the single point of failure in a standard Kinetica cluster and provides recovery from failure. There are two types of high availability for Kinetica clusters:
- Cluster resilience -- Node and process failover/switchover for resiliency within an individual cluster
- Ring resilience -- Grouping multiple clusters in a Kinetica ring to utilize multiple replicas of data and provide an eventually consistent data store
